Before doing time as a kids transport vehicle this Touareg was used as the "Bad Guy Hero Car" in the film Fast 5. That would be the fifth installment for the Fast and Furious franchise- Whats' a bad guy hero car?- It's the car that was used throughout the film by the villain (Reyes). It has a grey matte finish which was added to make it look better on film. There were several used (5) in the movie- Three were smashed and one was cut in half- This is car that was used to transport the actors throughout the streets of Rio de Janeiro to the ultimate standoff on the bridge- Sorry but the machine gun that pops up through the sun roof in the movie is not available, though it would come in handy in LA traffic.. It's in good shape, though it needs some work- It has a salvage title (apparently at one point prior to filming it was stolen) and currently the mileage is at 107,000 Our mechanic told us it needs to have a vacuum hose replaced along with some additional maintenance which we were quoted at around $900.00 to fix - It's a great car to drive and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with it- For now- We're selling it as is.
