Its powered by a very strong 455 cubic inch engine, connected with a 4 speed manual transmission, Flow Master muffler have the Muscle Car sound, the black paint has a brilliant shine, the interior is mostly new, the chrome gleams, it has power steering, it has power brakes and the new American Racing wheels with new Cooper tires are the icing on the cake. "Keep reading for details" VIN 223378U609305 IS THIS A REAL HO 455 CAR? No it is a good replica, it has the hood, emblems and side stripe to make it look like the real thing. Just think what a real one this nice would cost! HOW IS THE ENGINE? It is a real 455 entine based on the casting numbers on the bottom. It runs very strong, I see no blue smoke or hear no unwanted knocks or rattles. The only rattle I hear is detonation if I do not put high oxtane gas in, you will have to run high octane gas or hear the ping. The radiator is a up grade to a large aluminum with a electric fan. The intake and carburetor is made by Edelbrock. HOW IS THE EXHAUST SYSTEM? The car has the real deep/loud Muscle Car sound. The muffler are made by Flow Master. The headers are full tubes not coated, I am not a header fan for on the street, but most guys love it. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a 4 speed manual and I feel no clutch slip or chatter. The cluctch does release near the top of foot travel, I like it that way. HEADLIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK, but inside indicator are not working and you have to hold the lever down or up, it does not lock! WIPERS WORK! GAS GUAGE WORK! RADIO not WORKING! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! HORN WORKING! HEAT AND CONTROLS ARE IN PLACE, the controls are junk and need replaced. By controls I mean the side bar controls! HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Door panels look new, carpet looks new, I see no cracks in the dash pad, seat cover look new with some wrinkles (they need hot sun to smooth out more), steering wheel is decent, but has some minor cracks under close inspection. HOW IS THE PAINT? The starlight black has a very good shine, when I look down the sides it looks very straight to me, I see no dents or dings, I do see some specs and chips on the edges that have been touch up with matching paint. The paint is smooth and has a brilliant shine, the painter should have taken extra time and sanded and smoothed the corners around the front windshield and back glass, some rough edges. HOW IS THE CHROME? back bumper looks like new, front bumper shines good, but has several tiny chips. All the emblems look nice to me. HOW IS THE UNDERS? The frame extensions look very solid, floor bottoms have been replaced. I can see the seams, installer used the correct pans, but did not smooth seams with filler. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? I drive a lot of old cars, so it drives fine to me. When you jack the back up and lower the front it looks great, but does not make the car drive better. To make it drive like factory you will need to lower the rear, but it looks great the way it stands. The car is power steerign and the steering is good. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? They are power, they are 4 wheel drums. Drums brakes stop OK, but on a fast car like this I would consider converting the fronts to disc in the future. HOW IS THE GLASS? Side glass and back are very good originals, I see no cracks or milky areas in the windshield, it does have a faint wiper blade mark. HOW ARE THE TIRES AND WHEELS? New! New ! New! WHAT IS THE HISTORY ON THE CAR? I can not tell you much, my car restoring friend that lives near Cincinnati fround the car and I bought it from him. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303.
