Up for auction with NO RESERVE. 1985 Chevrolet Silverado short bed 4x4 Resto Mod with no expense spared (over $15,000 in receipts) put together with the best parts and materials available. Orignal California truck 100% Rust Free. It has 3,102 miles on a blue print crate motor from Jegs which is a fully built 383 stroker 440 dyno proven horse power. 100+ more horse power than a ZZ4 motor. This truck hauls ass, it sounds and looks outstanding. The 700R transmission was completely rebuilt, new valve body shift kit installed, heavy duty torque converter with 2200-2400 stall speed. All of the suspension on the truck was redone. The truck drives excellent on American eagle 16x10 aluminum wheels with 34 inch Kumho tires. The exterior of the truck looks incredible with a custom two tone paint job black and red which is split up with custom yellow pin stripe. The pin striping was done before the clear coat was applied. PPG base coat and clear coat were used to pull off the attention grabbing paint job. People usually break their necks to check this truck out in traffic. It gets thumbs up every where you go. The interior is immaculate with its custom two tone bench seat, that color matches the truck. New carpet dash pad door panels, custom head liner with four mids and highs speakers angled for better listening. Speedometer was rolled back to zero when the crate motor was installed 3,102 miles on restoration. The truck was built 4 years ago and kept in garage its whole life. It's an honest truck there is no rust on any of the bolts. It has not been spray painted like every other truck, only the wheel wells have been sprayed with bedliner. The frame is solid, the rubber body mounts are still in good condition, when you look up and see the washers on the body mounts you can tell that they were cadmium plated because they're still silver with no rust on them. The floors are 100 percent solid with no patches. The inside of the bed is solid. The engine has no leaks, no smoke, no blow by. The motor is a brand new crate motor from Jegs has been barely broken in, it has 3,000 miles on it. It runs like a champ. It's a very responsive motor , responds quicker than u can. I've never driven a truck that when you accelerate it throws you back in the seat. The motor alone cost $4,000. I have receipts for the motor. The transmission is nice and dry because it was rebuilt, I also have receipts for that. It cost $3,700,to set up the motor, transmission cost about $10,000. The drive shafts are in perfect condition because they were balanced and heavier-duty U-joints were installed. The differentials do not leak.
