Nice shinny dark blue paint! I consider it upper end driver quality. The body is straight down the sides, I see no dents, no rust bubble and the shine is extra good. If you look will a critical eye you will find some specs and some touched up chips on the edges. The paint looks extra nice, your just not going to get a $20,000 roll out of the trailer at the car show paint job on a $13,999 car. HOW IS THE ENGINE? Its a good running 289 cubic inch. I hear no knocks of unwanted noises. It starts and runs good. Past owner said it had less than 5000 miles since a rebuild. It is clean with chrome valve covers and HP air cleaner added, it also has a aluminum up grade radiator. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a C4 green dot automatic. The green dot was a shift pattern sales gimmick, I don't like them, but it worked for Ford. I feel no slip and it has a good firm shift. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Carpet looks like new, door panels look new, dash pad great, rear package tray area good, seat covers have no holes or worn trough places, but the drivers seat has wrinkles. The head liner is good and has been replaced, it needs pulled tighter, it has some wrinkles. HOW IS THE REAR END? It bad grinds or growls. It feels like a little lower than stock. Guys did that for more power, its not crazy low, car still drives out good, it does make the speedometer read a little high. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! HORN NOT WORKING! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GUAGE WORKS! OIL AND TEMP GAUGES WORK!After market radio and CD player are in the glove compartment. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? The stop good, they are drums on all 4. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? It drives as good as 1966 Mustang drive. No shake or shimmy and it drive straight and steers very easy for no power steering. HOW IS THE UNDER SIDE? Frame extensions look solid to me, some floor bottom have been replaced with flat metal, its not beautiful, but it works fine. I see no holes, I see some rusty color metal, "its over 50 years old". HOW ARE THE TIRES? Very good 14 inch tires on stock rims with stock factory hubcaps. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303. CONTACT: Ron Watson cell phone is 423-506-8987 direct email is dreamcar@live.com BOTTOM LINE: Please come and inspect the car and be happy!
