69 Caddy El Dorado Coupe, Bought new by an airplane mechanic / pilot for his wife in Hayward CA. and has remained in sunny and dry Northern California since! It has been garaged all it's life when parked. All original (code 16) Patina Silver Metallic paint with the exception of the right door which was spot painted years ago, Super nice dark burgundy colored, aka Mauve Leather interior, Gorgeous under the hood. Very straight body with a few minor dings, the paint is almost too good to paint the entire car, As a survivor it should be spot painted with lacquer after fixing the few dings to retain it's originality IMO, Take a look at the two photos near the end, Look at the reflections, That's after less than five minutes with a buffer and some medium compound, Vinyl top is excellent, bumpers and trim are excellent as well. Just out of storage in an airplane hanger since 1995, Starts, runs and drives fine after setting the points, cleaning out the fuel lines, filter etc., Should double check all belts, hoses before any long distance trips, A/C needs a re-charge. Going to give this another try here on eBay before I send it out to spot paint and polish the entire car then raise the price a bit, Doesn't make sense to spend the money if the new buyer wants to do complete paint or even a color change, wouldn't it look awesome in BLACK?
