There have not been ANY original, running 79 Honda CX500C motorcycles offered for sale on eBay in the last 90 days. This is a rare bike in amazing original condition.79's in this condition don't come up on eBay often. I have a clean and clear Missouri title. This is an original-paint un-restored historic motorcycle! Most of the 1979's I have seen over the years have been poorly restored or over-restored. A bike like this is only original once. I have owned this bike for about 3 1/2 years. This Honda has always been in dry storage. This motorcycle has never spent the night outside since I've owned it. You can see it has been protected from the sun by looking at the gauges. Usually the red on the gauges is the first to fade. Because the bike has been properly stored, all the seals and rubber components are supple and in good operable condition. The tires are new and I have already replaced the speedometer cable. The bike is almost entirely original. Never repainted, never molested. There is no significant damage on the bike. There is no significant rust or rot on the bike. There are no significant mechanical issues. The gas-tank, seat pan, and exhaust pipes, like the rest of the bike, are all solid and basically rust free. There is a small scratch on the left side of the gas tank (pictured). The condition of the bike is 100% reflective of a machine that has been well cared for.
