MECHANIC'S SPECIAL! THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN LOUISVILLE, KY. BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK UP This is my wife's car. It quit on her on the interstate and when we took it to a mechanic he told us it would be cheaper just to get a new car and scrap this one. I know it is a rare vehicle with all the right options (the center diff locker works!) that someone out there would love to put a new engine in and have a cheap little mini-jeep. I would do it myself but as you can see in the pictures it is taking up our garage and I need it out of there before it starts snowing. This is a straight auction with NO RESERVE! The starting bid is what I paid the tow truck to get it back to my house so as soon as I make that back, anything on top of it is a bonus. The buy it now is how much it cost to put in the new clutch last year. I know thats high for a non running car but this one is hard to find and there might be someone out there that REALLY wants it. At least I hope there is! Between the tires, seats, and convertible top components you could make your money back just parting out the car but hopefully you will get it back running. This was her first car so there is some sentimental value. It would make my wife too sad to watch me part it out plus did I mention it is in my garage spot? Other than the engine, everything was working well when it quit.
