1965 Chevrolet El Camino Really nice older restoration Old School Style with Modern Upgrades Rebuilt modified 283 engineStainless HeadersPolished aluminum Intake manifoldPolished Edelbrock 4bbl carburetorChrome water pumpChrome power brake boosterChrome Air CleanerChrome pulleysElectric fuel pumpHEI DistributorHigh torque starterlots of chrome details bolt covers etc.... This El Camino has been restored almost top to bottom several years ago and then placed in storage, The El Camino spent most of its life out west I purchased the car from Colorado. This Rod has a slightly modified custom interior as you can see in the photos w/new panels, carpet, headliner, steering wheel, seat belts, rubber shift boot, brake, gas and clutch pedals, radio with Boss 3 way speakers (sound great)! All handles and knobs clean originals and everything works. Car has factory-style remanufactured Tachometer in dash and speedometer reads actual MPH. 4 speed manual transmission shifts smooth in all 4 gears. Car has new power front disc brakes and new rear brakes with about 500 miles on them. Al shocks have been replaced, air shocks in rear. Power steering has new 2 to1 gearbox ratio. The car has a solid modern feel and drives like a newer model and stops on a dime really fun to drive. 15" wheels and tires in great shape, wider tires in the rear tuck in just right and gives the car a perfect stance.Original glass is in good shape but not perfect. Bumpers chrome and brightwork in excellent shape, most have been replaced and show nicely, the only bad piece that shows defect is the lower rear window (stainless) Car is solid no rust through anywhere solid floor pans. Paint shows really nice especially for an older restoration, hand pinstriping tastefully done paint does have some minor scratches and blemishes wouldn't take much to make this car perfect! As far as I know, the car has approx. 5000 miles on it since the restoration. I have been using this El Camino all summer driving to car meets, and a few trips as well, it turns a lot of heads. I really enjoyed this car and hate to sell it but I have too many things going on and it needs to go to a good home for someone else to enjoy. This vehicle is being sold as is as described. Feel free to ask questions before you bid your welcome to see the car or have a mechanic inspect the vehicle. I do have more photos and video on request for serious buyers. Please bid only if you are serious and plan to follow through with the purchase if you win this auction. I request $1,000.00 following auction end and full payment within 3 days or car will be relisted This is a no reserve auction I do reserve the right to stop this listing at any time due to it being listed locally as well Thanks for looking at my auction and Good Luck!
