This auction is for a near original 1936 Ford 1/2 pickup in very solid condition. The truck has 1939 hydraulic brakes and a later Flat Head engine, I believe the engine is a 1938 or 39 and it does run. The body is very straight with very little rust, the very bottom of the stake pockets and one place on the corner of the door has some rust and very slight on the passenger cab corner and that’s about it. It has virtually no dents or crack fenders, th body is very original and very straight.Overall it is exceptionally rust free the bed is metal and is in exceptional condition even the floor is very nice and underneath it has the original wood in good condition. I do have the tailgate and it is straight but someone cut some slots in it so it needs be repair, the cuts welded.The truck has been sitting for a few years unused by the previous owner who had it for 50years. I bought a new 6 volt battery and got it running on a gas can, but it needs to be gone trough and the tank cleaned,It seemed to run very well. This is a solid project to restore as original or hot rod. I will assist the buyers shipper or I can store it for up to 60days after payment if time is required to come and get it.
