Hi all, selling my 1989 Austin Mini. I received the car in a trade and have greatly enjoyed it, but I am lacking storage for the winter. The car was completely rebuilt by the previous owner, who bought it from the original importer to Canada in 2006. If you're looking for a unique mini that gets tons of attention, this is it. The car is currently located in Calgary, Alberta. Happy to ship anywhere, or sell to the U.S., buyer-arranged. I know I will probably miss some things, but here's everything I can think of: -Completely sanded down and rebuilt, some new metal but for the most part the original steel was in great shape -Engine is twin carb 1275cc completely rebuilt and bored .60 over (paperwork included) -4spd standard transmission -Numerous new engine parts from Mini spares, Brit Bits, and others -All new glass -Decent stereo with CD,AUX, and 2 4" Focal speakers in the front dash, with 2 6x9's under the back seat -Cobra racing seats -De-seamed body -Carbs tuned -Brand new tires -Compression good -Rally lights on rocker switch -No rust -Heater works great -Coated in hail guard making it rust-proof, rock chip-proof, and hail-proof -Fully undercoated I have a folder of all the receipts for the work performed by the previous owner, from wheel alignments to motor mounts. These receipts total to $8000CAN, not including bodywork and paint. In addition, I have 4 extra mag rims, and two bins of spare parts from the build that will go with the car. This Mini runs & drives great, has no problem doing highway speeds and have never had a problem with overheating or anything like that. However it could use a front CV joint, and the brakes bled.
