Vehicle Detail
For sale 1970 BMW 2002, agave/green, tobacco interior, good original, reliable daily driver, Florida car. Number matching engine. 4-spd, Runs and drives great: weber carb, new distributor, radiator, water pump, all hoses, fuel pump, battery, new tires and spare, brakes (front and rear), all brake rubber lines, calipers, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, wheel bearings, rotors, all tune up and oil services have been kept. New Bilstein heavy duty shocks front and rear, strut mount bushings/bearings, new rubber suspension parts on control arms, new ball joints, rubber replaced on the sway bar and through-out the cars steering and suspension. New alternator and voltage regulator. The overall car is in good condition and has been maintained. The interior is complete, everything works as it should. Tachometer, heater and blower, AM/FM radio, lights, turn signals, horn, all are operational. I have the head rests, which are perfect and the windshield washer tank. The body is in good/fair condition with various dings on the body and some rust that I've done my best to document in the photos. Paint is original, except in some areas that have been touched up over the years, including paint/body work in the right rear quarter panel area from a small dent years ago, but nothing major. This has been a southern car, none of the rust is from salt. However, the rust is from water over the years. The rust areas include: the left front floor next to the pedal pack/gas pedal, the lower drivers frame rail (from a mouse nest), the lower front valence panel, the right rear passenger floor has a small area, and the bottom fenders/rockers have a few areas, the bottom of the doors are a few small areas, and the tire pan in the trunk. The trunk has surface rust in spots. The shock towers are all rust-free, as is the rest of the car and undercarriage/floor pan. Please feel free inquire with any requests or more photos.
