Vehicle Detail
I am selling a 1968 Cadillac DeVille Convertible. It's a good looking driver that gets plenty of attention. It starts right up, runs and drives good. Odometer says 39k miles and I do believe it to be true although it cannot be proven and isn't documented. I say this because it starts right up, no smoke or anything, has plenty of power, the windows and the power top go up and down very quickly (no tired motors or pumps), and under the hood it seems to be all original. It is a factory AC car and all the belts and components are there, though I have never used it. Has factory cruise control as well. The metallic blue paint looks good and shines nicely but does have some imperfections in the paint and body work up close. Lower fenders/quarters have patches. Chrome bumpers appear fine but do have spots of rust and chrome peeling down low. The convertible top is in very good shape, with no rips or tears. It has the glass back window and the top goes up and down flawlessly and very quickly. Frame is solid and the floors look good, the trunk has rust spots. Original spare and bumper jack included (still has the sticker on the spare tire). Windshield has a spot in the corner where its delaminating. The interior is in good shape, the front seat was redone and other areas like the rear seat have been touched up, although the leather is dry. Door panels and dash are all OK. Power top works great, the power windows work great too (except the drivers window which makes noise when you push the button but I move it up and down by hand). It's not a perfect show or museum car by any means, but it is a good looking convertible with some nice options that you can get in and enjoy. This is a NO RESERVE auction, meaning the car will be sold to the highest bidder. Sold as-is. Feel free to contact me with OFFERS, QUESTIONS, or to COME SEE THE CAR in person prior to bidding.
