1937 FORD PANEL Truck Barn Fresh Patina Flathead V8 Unrestored Street Rod? Rat Rod? 1937 Ford Panel Truck rare and ready for your imagination! I don’t think you will ever find a 37 Panel this original again! I will upload more pictures if you send me specific requests! Thanks for the interest!Yes, I have no problem storing until the transportation arrives.1 month or so, need to have it out by the end of the year, thanks Had been in Barn (shed) storage since the early 70's, I acquired it, several years ago. Un-restored. Not running. Very little rust. There is a small rust through on the drivers front fender, where leaves collected as it was stored in a shed with an open wall on the drivers side. And the typical small crack at the top center of the right rear fender.I believe an Oklahoma vehicle its lifetime! Great Patina! Comes with 2 doors (pictured) and extra transmission, and some other parts. 4 new 16in truck tires and tubes installed in 2014. I found the oil line and fuel line locally, and installed. Clear Oklahoma Title in my name. I put oil in all the cylinders about 2 years ago, and put the plugs back in place tight. November 8th of this year, I put a crescent wrench on the crankshaft and it turned. I was able to completely rotate the engine, and at one point, when I removed the wrench to get another grip, it pushed back (rotated back opposite the direction I pushed) about an 8th of a turn. Tag on the engine in picture states Ford motor co OKC reconditioned. looks like a 10 and a 7......SD for standard bore....rebuilt in October of 1957? or October of 1967? Flathead's are not my expertise, so I didn't tear into it. (see 2 pictures) Pic of Drivers side engine, and tag on drivers side engine just below oil pressure switch. White cap is just protecting a vacuum line by fuel pump, to keep dirt out. Comes with Norman Swap Meet artistry, used as promotional feature, permission given to purchase to keep design if desired! Norman OK Swap Meet is 3rd weekend in March, and the 4th weekend in October! Great fun for the Auto enthusiast, check it out on the web! IF YOU ASK A QUESTION, LOOK BACK HERE, I will update same day if possible.Something is not allowing my e-mail reply's through the E-bay system...so I will reply hereQuestion: What is wheelbase, from center to center of hubcap? Answer: It is 112'' (112 inches)Question Danila: I was very impressed with your car, I would like to buy it. Hello, I want to clarify a few questions. 1. What parts of the car are original and what is not? 2. What documents do you have for this car? 3. Is the number of the body specified in the documents? 4. Is it possible to start a car engine? 5. What is the overall technical condition of the car? Answer: It is like 95% all original components, no aftermarket modifications I can see. Documentation is original Oklahoma title. (It is proof of ownership) Also have old motors manual, that has how to mechanical repair info. I have not tried to start engine. Mechanical components would need to be inspected and rebuilt as needed.Thomas: Is there any Brake pedal? Answer: The Brakes actually work and there is brake pedal. Of course with this old of vehicle they would need to be inspected and refurbished as necessary to make them roadworthy. I used the brake pedal when we rolled it off the trailer a couple of times, and they stopped the truck. I was amazed at the time, but its because it has cable actuated brakes. Enjoy, and good luck bidding! On Nov-26-17 at 14:51:00 PST, seller added the following information: Sorry about the delay of adding more photos, been away from computer. You will be happy with the solid wood in the back, it appears the original metal strips are in place.Additional photos, dash, back wood floor, and underside of vehicle. I took the cover plates off the ww wiper motors and rear door covers inside and have all that. Photo on floor is some of the parts that go with it. The rear doors outside at the top are damaged, and need some metal work, at the top. I planed on sectioning in the tops of the spare doors. A qualified metal finisher would prob. just work these original doors, and metal finish. On Nov-26-17 at 15:26:28 PST, seller added the following information: Individual wanted picture of underside of drivers door, see new picture. You can see the green pain on underside, little rust, and original rectangular drain hole. The picture of the rust hole on the fender, is where the leaves had collected on the fender, that blew into the shed that it was stored in. I will upload answers to questions and provide pics as needed this evening. drOn Nov-27-17 at 15:03:43 PST, seller added the following information: Hi all, I have sent my phone number to the following highest bidders, and you should have gotten it through the Ebay system. But you may not have, as AOL is going through this transition, and my old AOL way of doing emails is going to the slammer. MODELxxxx, Vietxxxxx, Marilxxxxxxx, Cobraxxxxxx, and FORDxxxx If you want to call for additional info, please send me a request for my phone number through Ebay's system, and I can reply to the email with my cell phone, because that is apparently working. Thank you. dr
