For those that bid on the previous listing, I had to re-list this as I had the wrong VIN in the previous listing. Up for auction is a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Wagon. It’s a car I really enjoyed owning but must part with. I’m the second owner and purchased the car with 24K miles on it. It now has close to 200K miles on it. The main reason I’m selling the car is it will no longer pass Virginia state emissions test due to the check engine light coming on for two codes (p0301 & p0303). These are misfire codes. The misfires codes are showing in 1 and 3, but are not constant, they come and go, but they have appeared with each attempt to pass emissions. Aside from that, there are a few other items that require some maintenance attention. I would suggest replacing the tires (At least the rear left tire) as there is a nail in the left rear tire (at the end of the thread on the sidewall, picture included). Sadly enough the tires have some life left on them (225/45/17). I would also recommend getting the brakes checked as the car has been sitting. There is also a fluid leak that comes and goes that should be looked at. At first it appeared to be oil burning, but as I can not see anything dripping, I can't be 100% certain. As for the transmission, it’s in great shape as the clutch was replaced about 40K miles before I stopped driving it. The timing belt has been changed twice. Drivability – the car was still driving like a dream the last time I drove it (but it has been sitting for a year) and driving it now you can tell it needs some work, where as before sitting it for a year, it was seamless and smooth outside of the intermitent misfires. As for the exterior, there are a few scratches that I have included in the pictures and a couple of small dings. The interior is showing the wear of a car this age. Mostly the driver side seat and center console. Buyer is responsible for any shipping requirements for the vehicle. Please note, the title is clear and the car has never been in an accident.
