This 2008 Toyota Highlander is a bit of a mixed bag. In April 2017 it blew a VVT oil line and the engine was professionally overhauled at Bredemann Toyota, Park Ridge, Illinois, and is still under warranty. Toyota had what was essentially a recall on this oil line so they did the overhaul for free. In addition, the starter was replaced with a new re-manufactured, and the water pump as well. Shortly thereafter, one of the front coils went bad, and all three front coils were replaced by Bredemann. Tires are practically brand new Bridgestones. Now, the #5 coil in the back is bad. Its been to Bredemann and I have an estimate of $850 to replace coil #5, or $1100 for all three rears. Cosmetically this Highlander is fair. There are some dings and scrapes all around. The interior is equally fair, with some damages pictured. While this truck is far from pristine, all it really needs is rear coils. If you do that you'll basically have a completely refreshed motor that will run like new. It drives, but warning lights are on, so its just been sitting.
