Vehicle Detail

This is an always garaged, Arizona car that I purchased from the original owner in Scottsdale, AZ a year or so ago.Every service receipt as well as every fill up are included. He meticulously maintained this car from new. I count well over $20,000 in receipts, much of it from mileage of less than 10,000 miles ago. (new clutch, new front suspension, new motor mounts, new oil seals). It has 278k on the clock. It runs much better than that, in fact, it runs like a top. He spent nearly $6,000 having a MB shop paint it about 15 years ago. You can barely tell it was ever painted and I know where to look. This car runs and drives perfectly and everything works and has no drips.Cold starts immediately with no smoke.Start, shift, hill climb, tail pipe video is available here;https://youtu.be/ZtWC4ASfevo This is the bullet proof version of a W123 since it has manual transmission, manual windows, and manual AC. All work. Even has original radio which also works. It is RARE because it also has a factory electric sun roof which was an option that most manual 240D purchasers did not go for. He may have ordered it special that way, it is listed as a factory option on the original window sticker which is with the receipts. New grandchildren force sale. I have (had) several of these W123s at a summer home which we just don't get to anymore. A shame to have them sit.I have a 100% eBay rating for a good reason and I am not a dealer. Just a hobby collector. Most people who have purchased cars from me on eBay are now friends of mine. The reason is that I do not buy any junk and therefore nothing that I sell is junk either.
