For a project bike it runs pretty good, It is not charging however, because it has a bad Stator. This is sold with bill of sale and CA auction/lien sale paperwork But i do not believe it has a salvage title. I buy bikes from auction to part-out on ebay, but whenever i come across something that is running, i like to put it out there for those of you who like a cheap project bike! Unlike most project bikes at this price, which haven't ran in years, This bike is a good project bike, because it is RUNNING! Thus taking a big gamble out of the purchase :-) you already know it runs and the transmission is good! which are the most important things. Anything else can be fixed relatively easily, compared to a bad motor or trans. Runs pretty good, It is not charging however, because it has a bad Stator. It failed 2 stator tests- inconsistent, and low AC voltage between the three yellow stator wires, and one stator wire is shorted to ground. Paint is faded/peeling on top of tank. It appears the wiring is disconnected from the radiator fan Somebody obviously was having trouble keeping the bike running, (and since it isn't charging, I can see why....) They probably took it to the dealer and were about to get robbed for who knows how much, just to fix a $1500 bike... and although they invested some cash in the new tires, realizing they still had to do other basic maintenance like battery, clutch springs, radiator fan, dmv fees, etc. ....they likely just gave up. The dealer / shop lien-saled it, and up to auction it went. Anyway, the parts are cheap, it's paying for labor that's expensive, so just buy a manual and do it yourself! comes with a bill of sale and the auction paperwork i have.
