This old kids bike was one of my Dads. I am not absolutely sure of the age because I cannot find a tag that tells us and we do not have a title or registration card. BUT one Online VIN decoder indicates it's a 1981. But it could be newer or older, I just don't know. I know that my kids rode it and their kids did too! 1981 falls into (time) line with the vintage of the other bikes I have been selling. Dad lived in the Borrego desert in the winter and used it to share with young visitors and teach them to ride; grandkids and later great grandkids. It has been crashed many times. Consequently it has many nicks, dings, bends, and foibles. The plastic fenders are literally taped together. (see photos) The plastic choke lever is broken. The tires are probably original and the front one is totally blown out. The seat has some exploded seams but the underlying foam is still present and not blown out. It was kept indoors when not being ridden. Wheels appear to be straight. Engine turns over. Of course it will not start without a lot of TLC. At a minimum. We cannot find the title but the DMV says there is no record in their computer and that a Bill Of Sale will suffice. It's last license is from 1987 which is when the Borrego State Park became off limits to ATV's so he did not license it anymore as it only ran on private property thereafter. Consequently it will come with a Bill Of Sale only. I am available if more signatures are needed. Pick up and or transportation expense is 100% on the buyer. I will put it on a pallet for a freight forwarder to gather it up. And I have a forklift and can load it for FREE. Sold without reserve! Great project bike or a motor if you have a nice bike with a bad engine. It was running well when last ridden ten or fifteen years ago.
