A very clean, Collector Quality, 1996 Fuel Injected Ford Big Block F250 w/Extended Cab Shortbed. With almost every option available at the time, they don't come much nicer than this one. At 22 years of age, it shows less wear than most 1 year old trucks, and eligible for Collector Plates in 3 years). This is a no excuse truck where EVERYTHING works as it should (including the Very Cold A/C). While not a "show truck" (its often mistaken for one) you could put this West Coast Truck on the show field, and be the center of attention, as you cannot stop for gas without getting compliments, and offers to buy. Interior is Immaculate--no stains, smells, rips, or tears. Bucket Seats are supportive (and both have Power Lumbar Adjustments). Console is deep, and has covered cup holders and storage compartment, or flips up to seat 3 across! Exterior paint is metallic Gold and just glows in the sun. The underside is so clean that after 22 years, the paper bar coded labels are still on the frame! Exhaust system is original with no corrosion--even noticed an original date code on the muffler! (see photo) Truck is eerily quiet on the freeway, with no rattles, shakes, or wind noise. Truck feels as tight as the day it was built. Tachs only 1500 RPM at 60 mph. Truck has alot of Torque, with the optional 460 cubic inch V8 (or 7.5 liter) and would be perfect towing that Vintage Ford to the Show Field in comfort. Dual Tanks mean you only stop when you want to... This is in my opinion the best era for trucks--they have all the modern comfort conviences, without any of the complexity/expense of the new trucks (have several friends that keep replacing their coil packs on newer Ford trucks). This has Fuel Injection for drivability, and a Simple distributor that we can all service. At a time when trucks are red Hot, and make the news for approaching 6 figures, this is a truck that could get you to work each day, tow the trailer on the weekend, enter a car show, or just enjoy all that Big Block Torque.
