I am helping sell this original-survivor, one-family-owned, 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-door, hardtop to help settle an estate. Since purchased new, this car has 26,500 original miles. This car has been stored in the family barn for the past 35 years. The body is in overall good and straight condition - with plenty of "patina" (some old body work on left rear, surface rust and some real rust in lower spots and the floor). The stainless and chrome is all there and in overall good condition. The right front bumper guard is missing its chrome and has surface rust. The glass is all good - except one crack in the windshield. The interior is original and showing some rips and wear. It is equipped with its original, 283 cubic-inch, 4 barrel engine with automatic transmission. The car starts, runs, drives, shifts, brakes and sounds great. The car is sitting on a very old set of tires - that hold air, but need to be replaced. This car is ready for a collector, enthusiast or classic-car lover.
