96 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE For Sale with mixed emotions is my 1975 Honda 125 Elsinore. A lot of effort has gone into this bike with many period correct enhancements. Starting at the front: Maico fork conversion with for 7” rods and recently rebuilt by Socal Maico with the Maico Only repro tubes, Excel rim laced to Buchanan’s spokes, near new Michelin StarCross tire, Renthal Jimmy Button high handlebars with Magura controls and a Motion Pro Vortex throttle, custom number plate holders and all new cables. Engine: bottom end built by Bill Clem, top end bored and matched to the piston by Racers Machine in Escondido (second over), Webco head, New 32 Mikuni and Dave Miller pipe. Seat: VMXRacing cover and foam on the original seat pan using the original tabs. Shocks are Noleen’s setup for a 175 intermediate. Powder coated frame (has been repaired) Redline swingarm keeping the Buchanan spoked Excel rear wheel in place holding a 55 tooth Sprocket Specialists sprocket. Wide footpegs to help keep your feet where they belong. All paint work done by Jeff Robertson aftermarket plastic and 1976 tank painted to replicate the 74 Elsie. I have a few extras that will go with the bike: the stand, original Maico triple clamps if you wanted to remove the conversion, original Honda Triples, enough parts to build an original kick starter (including the ball and spring). I was going to put the JP Morgan YZ 125 fork conversion on it, so have the tubes from the YZ, but would need the Maico parts. I believe there is a NOS shifter in the box and another set of Timken bearing conversion cups. There are several other miscellaneous parts from the original plus various fasteners, etc. Asking $3,650 Bike is sold as is where is, ask all questions before bidding.
