Vehicle Detail
If you like the Crossfire SRT6 and are searching for the right one, this is the SRT6 you should consider because if you don't, it could be the one that will haunt you later for not bidding on it. I still have cars that haunt me that I should have bought 30 years ago. This SRT6 is your chance to have and enjoy a rare car (of which there were only 1500 produced) for the cost of a single vacation. You are looking at a one of a kind car and you will not see anyone else driving one like it because it is unique. This SRT6 has been subtly improved and customized in ways that Chrysler should have done from the factory. You will need to study the photographs carefully to see all the costly modifications that have been done to this car. They were all done in such a way as to appear to be stock while enhancing the style of the car in a sublime way. The custom paint and bodywork completed on this car cost many thousands of dollars and they were done to an extremely high standard. This SRT6 was completely refinished in a custom multistage finish with numerous subtle enhancements. The hood was modified by reshaping the leading edge, removing the chrome hood trim and countersinking the new style Chrysler Emblem used on the new Chrysler 300 into the front edge of the hood. The same emblem was used on the trunk lid by removing the old style emblem counter sunk into the lid and replacing it with the New style emblem (which is a different shape and size). The old style Crossfire script and SRT6 Badge were removed to give the lid a more modern look. A modern style SRT6 Badge was added below the right rear tail light. The same modern style SRT6 badges were also added to the side of each front fender. The radio antenna was removed and the hole welded in to give the left rear quarter panel a sleeker look. An internal antenna was added to retain radio reception. The under side of the hood and the rear convertible tonneau cover were both finished in a multistage finish to make them shine like the outside of the car. The wheels received special treatment with all of slots in the wheels painted gloss black and the center caps were switched from the old style logos to the same modern Chrysler Logo used on the hood and trunk lid. The brake calipers were all powder coated in red to give the car a more high performance look. The Audio System was upgraded with a state of the art Pioneer CD Head Unit with Blue Tooth, USB Input and illumination that matches the rest of the dashboard. A four channel Phoenix Gold Amplifier was also added to keep the good times rolling. Thoughtful touches added to the interior include LED interior lights and a backup camera with a monitor that is hidden in the rearview mirror. Mechanically the car is all stock with the only change being the removal of the stock plastic engine cover to show off the AMG Supercharged Engine. This SRT6 runs and drives the way it did off the showroom floor. It has had oil changes done by the dealer and is up to date on all maintenance. It is very fast and handles like a go kart. All accessories work as they should. It has less than 78k miles on it and drives like a new car. If you send a me a "question" through ebay I can send you a link to a video to hear the SRT6 started cold and shows the gauge cluster while it's running. eBay won't allow me to place link here. The Crossfire Convertible Model is known to have problems with the rear window falling out. This SRT6 rear window was modified with a layer of canvas added to the backside of the glass so the window is sandwiched between two layers of canvas so the window will never fall out. This was a costly modification and required the removal and reinstallation of the top to complete. The tires fitted to this car are Continental Contact high performance radials and are in very good shape. The overall condition of the SRT6 is very good to excellent. There are a few small chips in the paint, a small chipped section on the top of the tonneau cover, the drivers side of the center console has had some of the paint rubbed off by the driver rubbing against it, and the drivers side speaker grill has a small crack in it. I am trying to locate another grill to replace it for the new owner. Other than these small flaws the car is amazing. I would never sell this car if I didn't need the cash for a real estate purchase I am making the first week of November. Family first, so this beautiful SRT6 must find a new home. You can drive this beautiful car home with complete confidence in it's reliability. PS- You will get used to receiving compliments from fellow motorists when you get out of it.
