Vehicle Detail
Was in a wreck. Damaged body parts are replaced, but still needs work to get the panels to line up properly, as well as paint work (as stated above). The front end parts I swapped on are from a 2002 JDM sti, and it includes all the parts that came with that. Has pristine HID's, with ballasts already attached to the frame behind the front bumper, and the wiring harness adapter lightwerkz makes specifically for this swap. Lighting wiring needs to be done again because the dealership undid it when they were working on it last. Mechanically, the car is perfect aside from the a/c. Has pressure, turns freely at the compressor, but doesn't blow cold. The car also includes lots of other parts and fluids etc. Including a silicone bushing set, JDM sti lower control arms, new lower ball joints, as well as a silicone vacuum hose kit pit together for this car specifically. It has a large number of the coolant hoses replaced with silicone hoses, and the ones that are not installed are still included. The only one not included is the top hose. The top hose was cut open by the fan after the accident, and I had to trim a factory hose to fit (it already had an oversized radiator, so there was no margin for error before the accident) and it includes an additional factory top hose for you to install after body work is done so you can still drive it right away. Mods installed: silicone hoses as mentioned before, JDM sti HID's as mentioned before, walbro 255lph fuel pump, and a mishimoto x-line three row radiator. Parts included: all previously mentioned as well as two JDM radiator fans, the grill and grill trim pieces from the original front end, fuel filter (due at 215,000) and all other things in the car pictured that I didn't mention. (like the original leather shift knob, the owners manual, the gallon of coolant concentrate, gallon of distilled water, coolant treatment bottle, the mixed coolant and everything else I just didnt say explicitly that's in there.) The Good: Mechanically, the engine and transmission are in great health, and very well maintained. There is no check engine light, the compression was recently tested at the dealership, and it is identical to what it was when the car was new. No head gasket issues, no major leaks, no problems that need addressing for this car to drive. Tires were replaced less than 500 miles ago, and all other maintenance is up to date. Includes one keyfob and three keys (two original keys and one copy that i found keychained to the bottom as an emergency key), as well as the clear title that is currently in my name. The bad: The only problem with the car other than the body damage and the small amount of work required to get the headlights on again is that the A/C went out. There is a small tear in the driver seat, as is very common for this particular vehicle. There is a small crack in the windshield that happened just before I parked it after buying my current car. Due to the misaligned body and work that needs to be done, the hood does not close right now, but the latch does hold it closed. Just that it doesn't currently close flush to only be opened by the hood release. Other: The cost to get the JDM STI front end is $2000 on its own. Do I expect every person who sees this to care about or want that? no. Is it still effecting the price I'm asking? Yes. The headlights on their own are usually in excess of $600 and all the hard work on them is already done. The $100 custom wiring adapter is already in there and tucked away too. If I was to part out the car and sell just the complete motor and transmission (ignoring the entire car attached to them already) I would already be looking at $2150, so that's what I set the starting bit at. Please feel free to ask questions. It's in my best interest to be honest with you and answer your questions.
