For your consideration I am listing a beautiful garage kept 1961 Impala CONVERTIBLE with ONLY 83,xxx. This vehicle is powered by a 283 V8 2 BBL with a two speed automatic transmission. This IS a California car that was brought to PA in 1973and was stored until 2011 when the restoration was started. The vehicle was being restored over the past few years for my father as a GIFT for the first car he had ever had. Unfortunately he has since passed before restoration was complete. This car was restored and some new items were replaced with NEW parts, however the FLOOR and TRUNK pans ARE original. During Restoration there was one quarter sized hole in the drivers side quarter panel that was replaced with NEW metal. The hood has been replaced due to a dent while being in storage since 1973. Items that have been rebuilt include… 2 speed power glide transmission, radiator, heater core, 2bbl carburetor, as well as a partial exhaust system. The NEW items during restoration are… Cars Inc. Interior, Convertible top with pumps lines and cylinders, Brake System Cylinders and Lines, 14” White Wall Tires, and Fuel Tank is also NEW. The car was painted in its ORIGINAL color with base coat clear coat, NOS Bumpers and Grill. If you are in the market for a car of this style, you don't want to pass this one up.
