Up for sale is this original California black plate survivor 1960 Chevrolet Apache factory shortbed, fleetside, big back window, custom cab deluxe. This is an incredible truck with just the right amount of patina that most of us hope to find on a classic like this. Factory 235-6 cylinder engine and 4 speed manual transmission run and shift as they should. Recent work in the engine compartment includes: Full tune up (spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor), oil change, filters, carburetor rebuilt, new water pump, new V-belt, and radiator hoses. Recent brake work includes: new master cylinder, front and rear wheel cylinders, flex lines, brake shoes, all bled and adjusted. Recent suspension work includes: Front end has been replaced with a cross member from a 1970 C10 to eliminate the torsion bar front end and end up with the much better later spring suspension. Rear has new lowered rear springs, blocks, adjustable trac bar, and C-notched frame. All new shocks around and shock relocators installed. New tires front and rear. Recent interior/cab work includes: Front seat reupholstered in the original style with a new clear plastic seat cover for protection and nostalgia. New sun visors with plastic as well to match the front seat. New door seals installed. Front and rear glass is new and recently installed with new seals as well. Most of the electrical works as it should: headlights, turn signals, wipers, tail lights, etc. all function properly. Truck runs and drives well and has been well sorted and ready for it's new owners to enjoy. Original California black license plates, dealer frames, current non op registration, and clear California title included with the sale.
