Up for a NO-RESERVE auction is this great 1986 Jeep CJ7. It is the last of the breed and therefore has plenty of great options! It is equipped with the bullet proof factory 4.2 liter inline six motor which is mated to the rare factory automatic transmission. It is also equipped with power steering, tilt wheel and power brakes with disk brakes up front. This combination makes for effortless driving on and off road. It runs and shifts awesome and the 4 wheel drive works great including the locking hubs on the front axle. The odometer shows 107,478 miles. I recently purchased it from a gentleman who bought it for his grandson and had replaced many things to make sure it was reliable. The grandson wanted a pickup instead so he had to get rid of it. The list of new parts are as follows: New carburetor and air cleaner which was professionally tuned, new distributor, cap, rotor, ignition wires, plugs and coil, new radiator, thermostat and hoses, new belts, new oil pan and all new exhaust system. The front brakes were inspected and the rear brakes were replaced. It also has an Optima Yellow-Top battery. The jeep rides on a BDS 2-1/2" suspension lift with 31" all-terrain tires with plenty of tread that are mounted on custom 5 star wheels with "jeep"center caps. Included with the sale is a new steering stabilizer that still needs installed. It also has a full size spare with matching wheel mounted on the rear. There is a receiver hitch and trailer wiring under the rear bumper. All the glass is in excellent shape, wipers work and all the exterior lighting works. A nice set of L.E.D. tail lights have been flush mounted in the rear. There has been some rust issues in the tub near the rear wheel wells. The passenger side rear body mount is missing due to this. All other body mounts are good. There also has been aluminum body panels mounted along the lower part of the left and right outside tub which have been painted to match. The paint job is driver quality with scratches and scuffs but shines nicely. The interior is in great shape. Nice dash, front seats with cloth inserts and carpet through out. The rear seat has some tears. The center console still needs to be permanently mounted. The speedometer and factory volt gauge work and the factory fuel gauge and temp gauge do not. There has been aftermarket temp, oil pressure and fuel gauges installed under the dash and all work properly. The stereo does not power on and the heater blower motor is not working at this time. It will come with a Bestop bikini top and soft half doors in excellent shape. This is an awesome CJ7 that runs fantastic with plenty of power and great options. Mechanically it is sound and should be a very reliable driver. I've included a walk around and driving video below the pictures.
