Vehicle Detail

1966 Jaguar E- Type roadster with modified lincoln V-8 and matching high performance automatic transmission. The car has been completely restored and modified keeping in mind the original look as much as possible. This restoration was done by the original owner. His goal was to replace the original engine with a fast, cool running and dependable V-8 and matching automatic transmission. The car is in great shape and rust free california car and has been in the original CA family until i bought it about seven years ago. I kept in my heated and temperature controlled garage with the rest of my collections. Please ask as many questions as you wish so i can better describe the car for you. The following is my answer to a question:it is a completely rebuilt 1990 lincoln v8 modified for speed with edel chrome headers and holly carb. w/new gaskets, seals, rubber and hoses. High performance automatic with new seals.the rear was completely taken down and rebuilt.brakes were rebuilt with new parts as well. This car is seriously fast (400HP). The front end was modified for the new engine with all new ball joints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings and shocks. Custom exhaust system that sound great. It is all metal, the hood scoop is metal too, was added to make room for the holly carb and air filter. But it was added over the original scoop, so if you don't like it you can take it off with ease and cover the about 16 inches hole for the filter in the original scoop. I do get a lot of attention when i go to the beach(with my wife), so yes it is very sexy. The cost to do all that was around 65k and was done by the original owner who bought it new. I think he did all that work in the last 10 yrs and i bought it from him about 7yrs ago. It had been Ca. car all it life and i have it in my temp. controlled garage. I hope i answered most of your Questions. If you have more to ask feel free to do so. Thank you.
