1968 BMW r50us what we have here is I think a 68 model after much research, the guy I got it from said it had been in his family for over 30 yrs.according to what I can read on the internet, the dean of bmw website says the difference in the 68 and 69 were the reflectors on front and rear, my bike does not have them, so its a 68,, and also dean says there were 70 69 models and 132 68 models with the us on the end of the model designation, that makes this a very rare bike. I am not sure if the side car is for this bike to not, I cant see any hookups, according to what I can read, bmw took the side car mounts off bikes just about this time period the engine is stuck, or at least it wont kick over with the kick starter seat appears original, see tag what you see is what you get, it rolls and is restorable, I put rebuildable on the title part but I only have a bill of sale, it has a 1972 California tag on it, I got a bill of sale and you will get a bill of sale basically selling for parts or restoration its missing some stuff but you can look at the pictures and see if its something you want to restore or you may want the bike and not the car or the car and not the bike...my number is 304 719 2657 in WV call with your wants and we can talk 304 719 2657
