Performance Auto Sport in Richmond, VA made this car into a shop car to showcase the Griggs products they were selling. They also did a few magazine articles on the car and showed how well the suspension worked on the cars. 1.1G on street tires are something to be proud of. Runs great. VERY, VERY fun to drive. It rides like a racecar because it is a racecar. No trailer queen – a simple inexpensive to operate racecar, built by people who know. I purchased the car for my daughter and I to track day. Unfortunately she had a sporting accident that makes it impossible for her to shift. We have changed the tail lamp lenses and bulbs, put in new interior pieces, new exterior wiper grill and wiper arms. Purchase includes several parts boxes with new headlamps and interior weather stripping and new clutch cable. Original paint. -Interior is grey carpet and has not been altered much from its police duty days. Antenna holes on the outside have the plugs after it was put back into “civilian duty” -- one on the roof and three in the trunk. -Still has police dome lamp (no exterior police take down lamp) -Great Recaro seats w/ 5point harnesses and a roll bar. -C/D player and the A/C works great. -The odometer shows 107,927k -Everything works well. Issues: Parking brake does not work very well and clutch is stiff (new cable included), front fenders were moved for wider track and lips have scuff and surface rust (to be clear fenders are NOT rusty). Motor: -302 w/ about 36k -- Sounds awesome -AFR 165 cnc'd heads -Edelbrock intake -75mm TB -Custom cam. Pulls hard from 3500 up -Custom tuned chip -300/300 rear wheel on the dyno -Trans is a stock T5 Suspension:-4 on 4 Griggs brakes with two sets of spare rotors. -Full Griggs front tubular K-member with A arms -Griggs bump steer kit -Griggs coilover kit all the way around -Griggs torque arm -Griggs panhard bar -Weld-in frame kit (connects the front frame to the rear) -Sub frame connectors -Adj Castor/Camber -Adj brake bias Includes: Two sets of wheels and tires. Both are 275 all the way around. One are street/rain the other are race. One set silver the other black – WILL NOT SELL Separately It was built and used as a fun car to go out and drive with A/C on hot days then take to a track day and run with big boys for cheap.
