We have a very dependable 2000 Ford Taurus for sale. It has 191,000 miles on it and I would feel comfortable driving it from NY to LA. We bought this car for our daughter while she was in High School and I went through this car thoroughly. It's not a looker but your insurance will be a lot cheaper because of it. I had a complete tuneup, (including the spark plug coils), all new hoses, serpentine belt, new fluids, new tires and a tire alignment done. I had the brakes checked and everything I could think of that would be considered normal maintenance. This car drives straight, has ice cold A/C, great heater, cruise control, electric windows, all leather, power everything, rear window defrost, sun roof, etc. It uses a little oil and the motor is very strong and powerful. It has the 24 valve Ford optional engine in it. If you're looking for a car that will start up in the coldest of days and run in the hottest, this is a great, inexpensive car. It has some rust (look at the pictures) and several dents (the hood was dented when a tree limb fell on it).
