Hello diesel family and friends, thank you for your faithful following and Happy and blessed new year to everyone from Toms Diesel truck center on ebay,....I sell all my diesels on ebay only I do not have a web site, please stop down if you can or just check on ebay here from time to time I will put one or two new trucks on as I get them ready for sale,,,thanks T I'd like to share a little about my self just to let you all know who you are dealing with before we get together in a business deal, I also have all my policies which have worked for me the past 14 years dealing on ebay and online deals so please read, thanks ... my name is Tom I am a licensed mechanic and PA diesel truck dealer with experience going back to the early 1970's. For those of you who remember when you got your car fueled up the attendant that ran out to fill your car up? That was me.... it is where I started my journey into the car business, at 14 I walked down to my uncles Texaco station in south central PA, after football practice, I'd put on my striped shirt and greeted the customers filled them up, checked the oil, washed the windows and whatever else I could do to get tips;). He let me in the garage when I got to high school and did engine work, brakes, welding and just about everything else but where I really excelled is when he started selling cars, I enjoyed helping customers find the car or truck or there dreams. I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened this small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I'm an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. If you give me the opportunity I promise I will do everything in my power not to let you down... I know these old cummins diesel/and 7.3's trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California,Texas, and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast. A few things to know before bidding or becoming interested in one of my trucks, I do not play games with the price, I do my homework price low for fast cash sales on the buy it now that is what I need if you do the research you will see, however serious cash buyers are encouraged to bring cash offers close to buy it now we might deal to the right buyer, the right buyer to me does his or her homework and knows the market price on these old diesels, is easy to deal with and has there expectations in line, what I'm not looking for is people shooting lowball prices, bringing a magnifying glass to scrutinize a 15-20 year old work truck, if you need new I do not sell that they are tens of thousands of dollars more money and don't last long at all go to the new dealer if that is the case. But if your serious about buying a nice older diesel and are good to get along with that is me as well I will make you a sweet deal, stop down if you can.. Pop used this to pull his camper to Floridia in the fall and pull it back for summer. For sale this week is his 01 Dodge Ram 2500 Larimie SLT Plus 4WD Quad Shortbed with the cummins 24v turbo diesel engine 355 rears and 55 block, she has been dealer maintained since new fresh rotella every 5000, she also has brand new Michlein LTX 10 ply radials and aligment, fresh filters and fluids, she fires right up no leaks or blow by, only 140K original certified miles!!! Good brakes, exhsust and front end, drives tight and true. Best of all its all 100% stock no chips or tunes ever, has some good extras like a 5th wheel hitch in bed, Line X spray liner, Leer matching cap and key, and a bully dog type fuel system and filter to keep the injection pump going another 140K or more!!! The exterior paint is georgous guys nice original finish, absautly no rust or body work ever, nice gloss still no major scratching or denting, frame is mint. Inside the interior never smoked never hogged up smells and looks like new, has ice cold air and all other stuff working good. You might find a rock chip but overall its really really mint, I went over to the Dodge dealer with this to take care of a recall and they made me an offer pretty close to what Im on the buy it now, that shows me they world be asking close to 20 grand for it, so please only serious buyers looking for a super nice 2nd gen,my truck is right and my price is too, do your homework you will see what quality sells for,,,,if its not on the budget I have several more nice cummins with higher miles to post next week keep me as a seller.......thanks Tom Diesel717 991 0568
