1990 Mustang GT. 25th anniversary car. Car was originally sold in California and was driven by the original owner until 2002 when it was parked due to a no start issue and sat for 12 years untouched. This car is factory stock with exception of Koni adjustable struts and shocks with Eibach springs. Car was sitting on some 90s style 5 spokes by Fittipaldi, but is now on Ponies. A friend of mine in California bought the car in 2014 with the intention to part it out, gut it and make a race car but that never happened, fortunately. I bought the car and towed it home to Texas on June 23rd this year. I have put about 40-50 hours in the car and a good bit of cash to get it going again and I am not going to spend any more money on it unless I am keeping it. I have repaired all the injector harness wiring, the computer was tested and rebuilt by ECU Exchange in Florida, and I have fixed all the other little issues that come with a car that has sat for 15 years. The car runs down the road really strong and I have tested it out. I also replaced the taillights with brand new LMR LX Tails.. new hatch struts and striker bolt, new dipstick tube and dipstick, changed the oil and filter, flushed all the coolant 3 times, new fuel tank, new fuel pump and pump harness, and new filter. The heater core is bypassed right now because of a small drip over time. It's only a pin hole now, but will become more. It will need to be replaced. Trans and differential will need to be serviced as well, meaning just a fluid drain and fill.Engine was rebuilt about 20,000 miles before it quit running. Have no paperwork for that, but it does not smoke while running or miss, so the motor is solid and I believe the story since it was a good friend who sold me the car.
