This Chevy 3500 truck starts, runs and drives great but it has a few quirks. The mileage shown is not actual mileage on engine. The owner before me installed a newer engine and transmission (4l80e). Possibly the wiring is not all connected properly or the computer does not match the engine/trans combo because the speedometer indicates about 6 mph fast and the tachometer indicates fast too. In fact, none of the indicator gauges are accurate. The 4l80e has a fourth gear overdrive and a lockup converter which you have to select manually. The truck has a fifth wheel hitch and a rear hitch. I have towed a full size backhoe with no problems. It has heavy duty suspension and giant disk brakes. The real axle sports duel wheels on each side. All tires are in good shape.
