This is a 1970 Mach 1 project. I purchased this and was planning on restoring myself but soon after I bought I suffered a bad hand injury and almost lost 2 fingers so I am in no condition to work on it for quite a while. I figured I would sell it instead of sitting on it for a year or so. It needs full restoration and is a solid candidate with the floorboards being rusty but the body panels are overall solid. It comes with about $8,000 in new parts and $3,000 in refurbished parts including the lower panels on the side (expensive to restore and they look great). It has new floors panels as well as a new hood and trunk lid. It comes with a new interior and much new metal. It has a 351 Cleveland and the previous owner said he put a C4 auto trans in. The clutch is still there incase someone wants to go back to the 4 speed. Has bucket seats and fold down rear seat, has new covers and the carpeted fold down is in great shape. Has AC but missing some hoses. Approx. 95,000 miles believed to be original since vehicle hasn't been on the road since 1983. The motor is not seized and turns. Not sure of the c4 condition but was told from previous owner that it is in good shape. The car has newer mustang rims with good tires but need spacers, I wag going to replace them with a set of period GT wheels that are included. Disc brakes up front. New gas tank not installed. The car is pretty complete but will need the following items to be totally complete: carb for engine, driveshaft, clock, windshield, rest of exhaust(has 2 pairs of headers)radio and speaker. Includes 2 extra door glass. Everything else is there. There are also many duplicate items that can be sold to finance the parts needed. The rest of the parts should fit in the back of a pickup. $500 non refundable deposit due at end of auction via PayPal and the rest due at pickup with cash, money order or bank check. Must be paid for and picked up within the 10 days following the close of the auction. Auction starts at $8,000 with no reserve. With all the parts it is like getting the car body for free.
