Many Porsche enthusiasts feel the 993 series Porsche, which includes our Carrera Cabriolet, was the best 911 ever built. The 993 series Porsche's were built between 1993 and 1998. These Porsche's are often considered pinnacle of the 911's and were the last of the air cooled 911's. The Carrera Cabriolet is powered by the naturally aspirated Porsche Carrera engine. With 3.6 liters and 270 H.P., the Carrera is definitely no slouch in the performance department, 0-60 coming up in just over five seconds. The Carrera's race bred suspension and brakes, provide the crisp handling and stopping power which only Porsche 911's can provide in such an exemplary manor. This Carrera features Porsche's tiptronic transmission, which can be left in fully automatic mode (great for bumper to bumper traffic!) or can be manually shifted with steering wheel controls.This transmission allows the best of both worlds and makes for a very entertaining ride. With 60,000 miles (approx 3,000 miles per year) and always being garaged, our featured Carrera has been enjoyed and is in excellent condition. Its stunning black finish still having a new car luster and free from any signifigant dings or scratches. The (smoke free) leather interior and convertible top are excellent as well.
