1929 Chevrolet AC sedan What I have here is a loved and well taken care of piece of early American automobile history. This car was purchased at a yard sale back in the early eighties and it was actually pulled out of it's resting place in the barn that it called home for many years and although it was dirty and full of pigeon poop the new owner could see the beauty in the car and all of the originality that it had. Look at the pictures of the interior that is all 1929 original upholstery and window shades the whole interior is original and it only shows a little wear but no tares or rips. The door panels and kick panels and the window shades are also all original as well as all the glass and it even still has stickers on the windshield from 1940.Now for the drive train the motor has never been apart as far as we could tell and it runs great for an 88 year old engine but the clutch does chatter a little bit when you let it out to slowly but it shifts thru the gears splendidly but the brakes could use to be adjusted up a little I think but I just might be used to the brakes of newer cars and how well they work. Now for the body it is a all steel car with very little if any filler anywhere and all the doors open and close probably as good as they did when it was new and all the windows roll up and down with no problems and any wood that was damaged or weak was replaced when the car was restored so no issues with sagging doors or anything like that. The car was painted close to or the exact color it was when it was new and the top was replaced at the time of restoration so that is in wonderful condition as the car has never sat out side since it was restored 30 years ago. Like I said this car was loved and taken very good care of by the previous owner of 30+ years and it deserves to go to someone that can show it the same love and respect that it deserves.
