Vehicle Detail
2003 Ford F-150 Long-Bed Regular-Cab Pick-Up Truck.(Relisted due to winning bidder who DID NOT PAY!) :-( BUY IT NOW, or Make An Offer! :-) This is a Very Solid southern sheet metal truck. No rust or body rot that I can find anywhere! (& I got down on my hands & knees to inspect EVERYWHERE!) NO RUST! It has a few minor scratches, a few dings, & a couple of small dents here and there, but overall it is a very clean & straight truck. Certainly nothing unexpected for a used truck. This was a work truck that was well maintained, and I was told that it was mostly highway driven. It was reported to have high miles (odometer error, sometimes does not display), but the Motor starts and runs fine. ...runs smooth ...no smoke ...good oil pressure ...no knocks or strange noises. The Automatic Transmission needs to be looked at. REVERSE gear does not engage. 3RD gear does not engage (it seems to just shift into neutral). Moves in forward low gears just fine. No strange noises or grinding. (I haven't attempted to fix this. I've been told by a local mechanic that it could need a $50-$100 part (valve body), or it might need to have a used trans ($300-$400 part) swapped in.) Drivable as is IF you are only going forward at slow (neighborhood street, or farm, or yard) speeds.Appears to be leaking some oil at the rear seal (might have just been overfilled).I haven't driven this truck much since I've gotten it, but it starts, steers, moves (forward in low gears), and stops just fine. The Interior is good except seat is ripped on the driver's side (has a seat cover). Has No Radio. Has Power disc brakes. Has A/C. (...but could use a recharge to be Ice Cold.) Has a Ford factory Bed Liner! The front tires are very good, back tires are fair-to-good, spare is good. The key sometimes needs to be wiggled in the ignition switch & in the door for it to turn. I suspect that this is just due to the key being well worn. It has a nice Class 3 Receiver Hitch. The Grille is cracked (a new one is just $40 online). Has a Clear NoCarolina title. ("open title", signed off by previous owner.) I’m selling it because I currently have too many cars & pickups, so some of them HAVE TO GO. (& this one is the least expensive one AND the most solid one of the bunch!) (I was going to swap in a V8 engine & drive train from another truck, but I've since sold that truck & so now this truck is also for sale.) I really hate to sell it, as it is a great truck. Simple, honest, & in great condition overall.Offered with a LOW BUY NOW price! Or please make me an OFFER!! :-) NO RUST!!
