Superbly Restored! 1954 Triumph 650cc Tiger T110 Frame Number: 47188 Engine Number: T110 47188 A development of the Thunderbird tourer, the T110 prototype performed brilliantly in the 1953 ISDT, thus providing the production version - launched later that year - with invaluable publicity. The first Triumph with swinging-arm rear suspension, the T110 came with a revised engine incorporating a stronger crankshaft, high-compression pistons, larger inlet valves and ‘hotter’ cams. The T110 remained in production into 1961. This beautifully presented Triumph Tiger T110 was restored to close to 100 points by well-known Eastcoast marque expert, Roger Jones and has been part of a discerning collection of rare and exquisite motorcycles in Southern California since. A meticulous owner, each bike was superbly restored and displayed in a specially built room in his office building. Paint and brightwork are to concours condition, as are all finishes and hardware. A matching numbers example, it was recently thoroughly gone through by local Triumph and classic bike aficionados, Glory Motorworks, to ensure the bike is not just the show piece presented, but a reliable and fine running machine, ready for any tour or rally.
