Reluctantly selling my British Racing Green MGB. Boss says I have too many toys so something has to go.Partial restoration less than 2 years ago. Only driven about 1,000 miles since.This car has never seen salted roads and is almost completely rust free. Chassis is straight and the car runs true and very stable at over 70 Mph (where legal).Mileage on odometer is 58,309 and is believed to be first time round (but I cannot prove it). Oil pressure is steady at 70 PSI and it does not consume oil. It does leak a little but so do most British cars. Clutch is smooth and firm and gears shift with no crunching.I am aware of the following repairs and upgrades.High quality professional paint job.New convertible topWeber DCOE carburetor conversion.Spax adjustable shock absorbers on rear suspension. Rear suspension bushes and joints have recently been checked and adjusted.New Tires and WheelsNew Fuel tank and fuel pump.Replacement starter solenoid.New Fanbelt.New headlight switch.Parking brake fixed.New Battery.New exhaust system.This MGB is easy to drive and has no problem keeping up with traffic. It would make an excellent daily driver. Almost all spare parts are available and inexpensive from several online sources. Currently there is no A/C but I know of at least one aftermarket source.Alternatively this could be the basis of a great full on restoration.
