Vehicle Detail

Father in law started restoration project on this car in 2009, worked on thru 2012 and I finished (new fuel tank, water pump, battery etc.) thereafter due to his failing health. When shipped to WI from GA his words to me were "all the receipts are in the trunk - don't ever add them up!" I didn't until he passed away.....I stopped adding in the mid 30's, and those same receipts go to the winning bidder. I'm honestly not a Ford guy....and with his passing it would be easier on my wife if this wasn't in our garage. So here's what I know: Last appraised and insured value 28k. Buy it now is under 20k! All engine work done by Bobby Joseph Racing, Dallas GA. This thing is fast! 302 HO from 1988 Mustang bored .30 over, balanced, crank turned. Roller cam and roller rockers, 3/8 screw in studs. Heads milled and completely reworked: larger valves, 3 angle machining, racing valve springs. Edelbrock Air Gap manifold / Holley 670 cfm carb. Ford racing-type headers, MDS ignition, JEGS electric fuel pump. Drivetrain: Transmission - 1992 Mustang T5, rebuilt by Marietta (GA) Transmission Rear-end (wheel to wheel) 88 Mustang GT 8.8 inch, 3:50, traction-lock. Moser axles, Ford Ranger rear brakes. Suspension: Rack and pinion steering on new front frame rails, front disc brakes (manual) new springs and heavy duty shocks. Rear springs are monoleaf composites, new heavy duty shocks. Wheels/tires: Crager Super Star composites / BF Goodrich TA radials This car isn't perfect, but darn near! It's in my garage. It runs out great. It's cold-blooded and stumbles a bit in the 3000 rpm range as 4 barrel kicks in....but thereafter, hang on! It has WAY more into it than I'm asking....if you're the winning bidder and balk at it's condition, you can walk away and I won't trash your feedback. That's how confident I am in this car. The Texan who transported it from GA to WI told me "you might wanna hang onto this thing. It's pretty hot.......and I haul a ton of mustangs, but not a lotta these!"
