This 2011 Hyundai Equus Ultimate is one of those few cars that I have bought, that I question selling it because I like it so much. I had heard about these Luxury Sedans a few years ago...mostly because their price approached $70k and that was an interesting conversation for those of us that have been around the car industry for over 30 years...When Hyundai first entered the US market, their cars where so cheap, it was almost comical but, people bought them and bought them a lot...Why, because "They did the Job...for a lot less money"... In 1986 Hyundai entered the US market at the perfect time. People needed cheap entry level cars and couldn't see much difference with cars costing double the Hyundai option. Then a few years later they blew Americans away with their 10 year warranties...What couldn't you like about that? Well, at the time, their cars were a bit hokier still, quality materials weren't that great, but they still "Did the Job" Then about a decade ago, Hyundai started designing and building cars that competed in quality and materials with Honda and Toyota, and smoked them on warranties still...big market shifts there...Hyundai planted it's feet here in the US for good... Hyundai overseas, one of the largest corporations in the world has always had a big name, but introducing a Flagship Land Yacht that would go head to toe with Maybach, Mercedes Benz S Series, Audi A8Ls, BMW 7-series, Lexus LS and a few others High Luxury Sedans, was something we didn't expect... Mission Accomplished! at less than half the price again... and this car "Does the Job" When I bought this 2011 Hyundai Equus Ultimate, just like any cars I buy, I always want the "Cream Puffs", the "1-Percenters", the cars that scream they were cared for with extreme attention to details and services. In my opinion, you don't want one of these that have been wrecked, repainted or beat to death. You want it as near to how it rolled off the factory floor as possible...if the cars I look at are not like that...there isn't any reason for me to get excited about them enough to buy them. When you look at this car as thoroughly as I have displayed it, you too will see that this is the one you want. From top to bottom, inside and out, this car is in pristine condition. For 68k miles and 7 years, this car was babied, kept up and serviced perfectly and never treated badly, never wrecked, never painted anywhere...she a real gem. So, if that is what you are looking for and willing to pay for, we are going to get off to a great start and friendship. These Hyundai Equus Ultimates only came equipped as you see. The specifications are a lengthy list of over the top amenities, many of which you would expect in a Maybach limo... like the rear seats power leg recliners and the ice-chest between the two seats... Window shades and power reclining rear seats. How about the back massaging units in the seats...great for those long trips. (I just spent 16 hours and 1300 miles in this car last weekend and it was heavenly) Load a DVD in and get a bag of Popcorn and you're set for a long trip for sure. They call that Business Class Rear Seating ...I call it "Honey, will you drive so I can sit in the back and enjoy this long trip?" Oh, and did I mention that over the entire 1300 miles trip throught the desert, over the mountains and into the woods, this great car averaged 26.6 miles per gallon. Extreme quality condition mechanically and cosmetically, ZERO rust or faulty components. That is all I want from my cars, 100% ready to be appreciated and enjoyed by their new owners. I can give you my opinion of this great vehicle or you may already have one, but I can tell you, this car matches up with the finest luxury sedans on the market today. Quite ride quality, extreme comfort in the seats, leg room and amenities. Great back up and forward cameras for parking expertise. Ride height and sport suspension adjustments at your finger tips. Digital controls easy with a single knob. If you want the highest quality ride you can have for a budget that won't break you, but assuredly will impress anyone you pull up to or take with you, this is it. 17 Speakers from the Lexicon sound system...the same sound system provider for Rolls Royce. Bluetooth technology, Navigation on a 8" screen, USB Aux and IPod connections... Fold in outside rear view mirrors. These are just the basic options you see... read the specs list on any google site and you will be amazed just like I have been. Extreme quality under here too..no leaks, no damage, no rust! Tires are great, not brand new but plenty of tread! The rear brakes are at about 50%, the fronts are near 70% - no service needed. A note from the owner.
