This listing is for a 2001 Tahoe. While at college my daughter called and reported that it would not go into reverse. I have not taken it to a transmission shop or dealer but can verify that it does not go into reverse, My reason for selling is that there may be someone who has a good drivetrain and a damaged body and would like to transfer their good drivetrain into this good body/chassis. I have owned it for eleven years and purchased it used from the original selling dealer in North Carolina. It has been driven in the South since new, no winters with snow.This Tahoe has the factory tow package. The 5.3 aluminum V8 in the Tahoe had well known problems with the head gaskets. Specifically the head gaskets would leak when the orange antifreeze was used. For years I had this problem and ended up switching to a different coolant. One or both of the head gaskets needs to be changed. While I have owned the Tahoe I have used Mobil1, oil pressure is excellent. This Tahoe is going to need to be towed or trailered. I have kept a battery charger on the battery, engine starts right up. I am glad to assist your shipper with loading onto a trailer. No warranty is expressed or implied.
