Vehicle Detail
2003 Porsche 911 Targa 996 67,000 miles 6 speed manual transmission 3.6L M96 engine Arctic Silver with black leather interior. I have owned this 911 for a little over a year and a half and have spent this time sorting the vehicle to like new condition. All maintenance and repairs have been performed by myself (Porsche mechanic). I purchased the 911 from a salvage auction in 2015 it had previously been repaired due to a tree branch damaging the targa roof glass and denting the left rear quarter panel. When I first purchased the car the targa roof was slow to open and close due to worn targa roof cables (common and expensive repair). All cables and seals were replaced by myself using original Porsche parts, I will include all paper work for parts purchased with sale. I also performed a complete tune up and fluid change, replacing spark plugs, oil and filter (liqui moly synthetic oil) transmission fluid, brake fluid. I have installed new brake rotors, pads, and sensors on all four corners, and had the wheels refinished by having them professionally powder coated in the original color, and new center caps purchased from Porsche. New Continental tires have been fitted and high speed balanced. New Bilstein struts have been installed with H&R springs, ECS Tuning spacers, and wheel studs. After the suspension work was done the vehicle was professionally aligned by Euro Tire in New Jersey, who has a wonderful reputation for setting up porsche race cars from all over the country. The car does not smoke or have any engine noise, there are no check engine or other warning lights and everything works as it should. The only imperfections with the car are some rock chips on the front bumper and a small scuff and scratch on the rear bumper. Both would benefit from a respray. The car runs and drives excellent, I feel this is a great opportunity for someone to own a well sorted, low mileage, and rare 911 for a great price.Click Here to view over 70 high resolution photosClick Here to view a video of start up, targa roof operation, walk around, and a short drive
