On Jul-15-17 at 06:45:14 PDT, seller added the following information: OK, I've had my last ride and given her one last wash and wax. Reserve has been lowered to $7995, someone IS going to own it. A small number of fidgety things need attention that with my declining eyesight I've been unable to address. It's hell getting old and not be able to automatically perform the minor repairs that you've always done. So here's the list of fidgety's: Interior lights not coming on when doors are open (door-jam switches?) A/C doesn't always blow from the correct vents (vacuum hose?) Small oil leak from upper left side of motor (v/c gasket?) Driver door panel has 4 small holes from broken cup-holder (removed!) Parking brake needs adjusting (rarely used) Small put-put from pass side exhaust joint. (Exh system is good!) So that's it. I have immensely enjoyed owning, repairing, driving this car. It's probably my 6th or 7th XJS, but clearly the nicest. Sad to see it go, but as in life, nothing lasts forever. Good Bidding, someone's gonna get a real nice car.
