Here's your chance to own a legend! This 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is being listed with a NO-RESERVE auction! High bidder will be the new owner. It has been converted to running a small block Chevy 350 and appears to have been done well and clean. It retains the original Toyota 3 speed manual transmission. It has a new Edelbrock intake manifold, carburetor and air cleaner. Recently installed new brake and clutch master cylinders, battery and exhaust system. It has an electric fuel pump. The radiator is cooled by an electric fan which is thermostatically controlled to come on at 180 degrees (can be adjusted). The 4 wheel drive system works great and the FJ40 runs and drives great. I have noticed what sounds like the throw-out bearing making a slight noise but does not affect the driveability at all. It has a set of BFGoodrich All-Terrains in like new condition and newer Monroe shocks all around. There is also the rare stock Toyota PTO winch mounted up front and is in working condition. All exterior lights work. All the glass is in excellent condition. The body has minimal rust and appears to have had some areas repaired at some point in its past. The paint is older and is peeling around edges showing the green paint underneath but as you can see in the pictures, still looks decent. The interior is in great shape. There is a set of small jump seats mounted in the rear. The heater works good with the factory rear heat system still functional. The wipers work also. The odometer reads 86,203 but the speedometer does not currently work so mileage is unknown. It comes with a new drivers door mirror which is not yet installed. I have a clean and clear title in my name ready to sign over to the new owner.
