We are sad to say the day has come to sell out our beloved bus. A 1978 vw transporter 7 passenger with original blue paint and and the white on the top portion was redone in the 90s. Our family has owned this bus for decades bit but our move forces is to sell. The mileage is 36,580 but it is really 136,580. But it has an upgraded new crate motor installed about 6 years ago and I believe we still have the receipt. We had a mechanic remove and send it in and they sent a rebuilt "new" one and it's been running great ever since. This model is a rare automatic transmission that shifts great. Tires are pretty good. It was always a west coast bus until we moved to the east coast 4 years ago. We don't drive in winter and only use on our summer trips. Very little if any rust. Sadly ours must go. I am happy to discuss and let test drive as bus runs very well and drives nice always starts. Doesn't need anything except cosmetics as you can see in the photo has a few west and tear marks but nothing we would change. We are looking for a reasonable price and the buses seem to go up in value all the time. Will work with you for shipping or delivery.
