Up for a auction is a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer V6 4.0L engine. This is a full-size American made SUV with three rows of passenger seating andCLEAN and CLEAR TITLE HISTORY. The EXTERIOR of this SUV is in GOOD CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a nice looking SUV. It has a white exterior, beige trim, and light brown leather interior for all three rows. All back windows were tinted by the manufacturer for privacy. As with many older vehicles with this mileage, please expect flaws, imperfections, nicks, scratches, scuffs and body paint blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. On this truck, the worst I can point out is a few rust spots on the rear panel past the back passenger door (its very minimal and difficult to see in the pictures). There is also the "Ford famous" small crack in the rear lift gate plastic panel (I think Ford dealers fix it for free but never had the time to take it to the dealer). Other than that, the exterior of the SUV looks good. No body dents. The finish shines nicely and looks smooth. The truck is equipped with a OEM tow hitch. All of the trims are present and show well. All of the glass, mirrors and lenses are intact. The SUV alloy wheels show well for their age, tires are in nice shape and match all around. Tire tread is above average. You can probably get a year or two out of them depending how many miles you drive every year. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully for the exterior condition and or contact for any questions. The INTERIOR of this 2004 SUV is in GOOD CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The interior shows well overall with some blemishes. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The seats and carpets show a little age (see photos) but are not worn excessively. No tears or cuts in the leather seats. Both front seats are power operated. Seating throughout the interior shows well for it's age and is comfortable. The power windows, locks, seats, and mirrors all work. The climate control system: heater works well, and the air conditioning system is ICE COLD. The audio system sounds great. There are steering wheel controls. The cargo area is spacious and clean. There is a full size spare tire below the surface in the back. The third row seats fold flat for huge trunk space. The rear seats fold too for even more cargo space. Please take your time and check out each of the photos for the interior carefully and ask questions if anything is unclear.Mechanically, this SUV appears to be in GOOD running and driving CONDITION commensurate with model year and mileage. NO warning lights are on. I have been driving this SUV for months, so I always fixed any problem presented right away . It starts easily and runs smoothly. The truck road manners are fine. The suspension is tight. Steering and braking feel good (new brake pads and rotors installed 6K miles ago). The engine runs well, but the hood telescopic levers do not hold the hood up on its own. We replaced many parts on this truck, including some suspension parts, front windshield, brakes, rotors, exhaust, catalyst, starter, tires etc, and have the records available.
