BEING RLISTED DUE TO A BUYER THAT DID NOT PAY. Buyer has been reported, so the car is being relisted. Your bidding on my 2005 Jaguar S Type, I have owned this car since 2010 with 50k and purchased it from Wellesley Jaguar and has been maintained since I took ownership. I drove this car daily and almost all of the mileage is highway and just recently took it out of service late last year. It is still registered and inspected. The cars body is very tight, minor dings and scraps, no rot but really solid for being over 12 years old. The interior is really nice no major tears, with nice woodwork. All of the electronics work well and has integrated GPS. The car has many new parts and four new tires. The car needs some mechanical attention, the transmission is currently in safe mode and does not shift out of gear (I think its in third). I have driven the car around town, sometimes it slams into gear when initially shifted into drive. I have had transmission issues in the past but a new battery three years ago fixed the issue (researched on jaguar owners websites). Also the ABS, traction control and check engine lights are on. For these reasons I am selling this car for Parts Only. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information. Thanks for looking and On May-23-17 at 06:13:06 PDT, seller added the following information: So I have received several questions about the Jag and would like to share the following answers: The back of the drivers seat (pic) is not torn, there is a sunshade in the back seat pocket. Can send updated pictures if needed. When I first listed the car I forgot to mention that the sunroof does not work. The motor works, but the sunroof gets bound up. All the windows function, but the drivers may need to be adjusted. It works, occasionally gets off the track. As I mentioned in this ad the transmission is in need of attention/repair and although the car runs and drives but it probably should be towed. I have driven the car several times, but never faster than 30-40mph. I would not recommend driving the car to far without a technician diagnosing the transmission. Last year I put in six new coil packs, brakes and new Sumitomo tires. I also have extra jag rims if wanted, they are yours! Again, the car is being sold for Parts Only and the price reflects this, please feel free to ask me any additional questions.
