Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a very original 1969 Honda Z 50. In nice condition considering its age. Very nice patina on the frame, and would make a great candidate for a full off resto. Professionally painted tank ($400.00+). We used the original tank for this bike. The red is a slightly darker shade than the frame, but I assume the frame paint has faded a bit after 40+ years. Either way, the tank looks really nice on the bike. Correct engine completely professionally disassembled and inspected by a Honda certified mechanic. - new kickstart gear installed. New seals and gaskets bottom end and top end of engine. ($400.00+). New valves and piston rings installed to spec. Carb cleaned and adjusted. This engine starts first kick, as you can see in the video: Bike starts, runs, and shifts well. Does need the ignition side cover gasket. The tank mount brackets on the frame and tank are missing, as is the taillight. As you can see in the pics, the rear fender is from a later model Z50. Please message with any questions, and look at the pictures closely before bidding. The bike is located in Missoula, MT which makes for easy shipping. Many freight companies have hubs here, and were located right on Interstate 90. I can hold the bike for up to a month in a secure garage while you make shipping arrangements. $100 deposit due at auction's end via PayPal, with remainder to be paid via cash or cashier's check. On Jun-04-17 at 18:43:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction: Rear fender is from a 68 Z50, not a later model. Also, this bike is being with a bill of sale only, it does not have a title.
