Vehicle Detail
We purchased this Sequoia when it was 1 year old an it had 24,000 miles on it. We purchased it in Richardson TX and it was in Texas until December of 2015 when we moved to central MA. We have done two winters here with it. The engine is strong and we have pulled a few trailers with it. It has never had any major issue other than getting a replacement U Joint on the drive shaft last year. It just passed a MA state inspection last month. The tires are in great condition with a ton of life left. My guess would be you will get another 30k + out of them. They are Michelin LTX M/S which are highly rated. We have done regularly scheduled oil changes. You will notice some normal family wear as our kids grew up in the back seats. The third row seats are completely removable. The second row will fold up against the front row. This creates a ton of space. I would not hesitate to drive this vehicle across the country many times over. There are a few scrapes and scratches that come with putting a large SUV into a single stall garage. We have a tail light that was hit with a neighbors bb gun. It is a small hole and does not impede the operation of the tail light. There is also a dime size spot on the tailgate that is showing rust. If you would like detailed pics of this please message me and I will send any detail you would like. We would not sell but we are moving back to TX and don't want to try to trailer such a big vehicle across the country. On Jun-07-17 at 06:14:48 PDT, seller added the following information: ***** IMPORTANT NOTE*******************************************************I listed this same vehicle two weeks ago. A buyer named "jakenbake2013" contacted me and asked to pay cash off of ebay before the auction closed (against ebay policy). I refused. He then won the bid and refused to pay for the vehicle under threat of negative feedback unless we let him pay over a thousand dollars LESS than his winning bid for it (again - not allowable by ebay) under the pretense that the listing was deceptive because the timing belt has never been changed. You can clearly see by the listing below - and the previous listing - that in no place is it stated that the timing belt has been changed. Also, while he had no problem messaging me to violate ebay policies, he never once asked a single question about the maintenance of the vehicle or the timing belt. I canceled the sale through the appropriate ebay channel, but again he refused to agree to the cancel thinking he could blackmail me into selling it to him anyway. Ebay allowed him to leave feedback on the canceled sale, but I cannot respond to his negative feedback, nor can I leave any feedback for him as the buyer. I've blocked him from bidding on the Sequoia this time around but that's all that ebay allows me to do. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to see screenshots of the entire ebay message thread. It's assholes like "jakenbake2013" that ruin ebay for the rest of us. ************************** We purchased this Sequoia when it was 1 year old and it had 24,000 miles on it.
